Yes, but you would more than likely feel the same about my world. Evolution has since halted and the process of devolving seems to be occurring. For the human species alone, I might add.

How exactly would you define 'your hate'?

Do not get me wrong. I happen to agree with everything you have said thus far concerning the species.

However, I do not wish for all of them to 'die'. I only hope that the genetic code will be improved, giving rise to those with superior DNA. Those who are not meant to survive will not. Darwin's theory of natural selection will once again prevail once I return to my world and complete my research.

I'd have to say I am flattered by such a comment.

However, I am interested how evolution has played a role in your world. Did creatures give rise to other creatures on Alternia?

Interesting. I would not have thought your species would have evolved from such a phylum. That may also be the reason your race is so evolved.

It is merely proof that the so called 'circle of life' also exists on your world. One species does indeed depend on another for survival in most, if not all, ecosystems.

A number of flowering and non flowering plants depend on a number of other species to transfer pollen from the male to the female plant. Birds and insects being the organisms to assist in such reproduction.

Indeed you are. However, plants can be quite complex and do play a crucial role in many natural cycles. On earth, anyhow.

[Whyyyyy is he talking about photosynthesis now........]

[If only Karkat could hear him chuckle.]

Ah yes. I do remember your reaction to the opening of the flower buds in and outside of the mansion several weeks ago.

But I was more or less referring to the process of respiration and photosynthesis.

Medications are available for such health issues.

Respiteblock? That is a term I have never heard or seen you use.

Nobody said you had to 'like' plants. 'Peacefully coexisting' would be a more reasonable request.

I guess the presence of 'respite' is what had me confused.

I am also guessing you are not going to choose the option of 'peacefully coexisting' with plants...

Only because plants obviously have plans of thwarting and annoying you into submission.
